Your Questions Answered
How to prepare?
Bring different outfit options in which you feel confident and comfortable.
It´s always easier to apply more makeup than take it off. So come with a light make-up look, and we can add on and change throughout the photoshoot.
If you would like to change your facial hair throughout the shoot, let´s go for it!
If you add your Instagram account to your booking, it helps me to prepare the shoot, to make it fit you the best.
When and how will I receive my images?
The same day or the day after our shoot you get a gallerie to select your photos. Once I receive your selected photos, you get your final edits in 7-10 days.
What if I want to order additional edited images?
Additional edits can be purchased for 20.- each.
Cancelation policy?
You get a full refund of your deposit if you cancel within 24 hours before the photoshoot.
Rescheduling is possible up to 24h before the photoshoot.
Who is byAlina?
Hi, I am Alina, a Swiss and Liechtensteiner (yes, that is a real country! Since it is so tiny and has just 41,400 inhabitants, meeting me is literally like bumping into a real-life unicorn!)
I am a dancer and a certified Pilates and Reformer instructor. I received my dance education at the “Ballettschule für das Opernhaus Zürich” in Zurich and at Steps on Broadway in New York City.
Besides all the artistic and athletic aspects of my life, I have always been passionate about topics such as equality, human rights, true crime, and sexual rights laws. This passion led me to study law, and I now hold a Master’s Degree in Law. I have worked at attorney-at-law offices and at the prosecutor’s office, but eventually my passion for dance, music, art, and sports brought me to London.
I have always been passionate about art, whether it is painting, drawing, or photography. My father used to take his camera everywhere with him, so it was always natural for me to do the same. As a child and while growing up, I always got to use his old cameras and fell in love with taking photos of family members and friends.
Later in life, I took advantage of my nerdy side and of what my law degree taught me — learning and educating myself — so I studied more about studio photography, took masterclasses in light setup, and began investing in studio equipment.
As a dancer, perfectionist, and camera-shy person myself, I know exactly what kind of environment dancers and performers require, what they look for in a photo, and how they want to appear. I know which angles make your legs look the highest and the most turned out, and how your feet and hands are presented in the best way.
The Studio
My home studio is located in North London, easily accessible by the Northern Line from Central London.
